The many images Andy Warhol appropriated from popular culture have survived as icons of Pop Art.
The pop art images reproduced in our Andy Warhol Calendar are: Cow, 1971; Dollar Signs, 1981; Mona Lisa, 1963; Flowers, 1970; Twelve Cadillacs, 1962; Diamond Dust Shoes, 1980; Banana, 1966; Camouflage, 1987; Do It Yourself, 1962; $1.57 Giant Size, 1963; Details of Renaissance Paintings (Boticelli's Birth of Venus), 1984; and Self-Portrait, 1964.
Many of the images in this Andy Warhol Pop Art Perpetual Calendar were silkscreened--a process that allowed Warhol to reproduce images with unpredictable variations. He directed his assistants in an assembly-line manor in his New York City studio, The Factory.
Write down recurring dates in these decorative perpetual or "birthday" calendars, and you will remember those important anniversaries. These handy calendars make nice gifts for friends, too.
