Designer Bio

Kept Couture

Kept was created by a woman passionate about pretty panties and lacy bras who found herself frustrated by messy suitcases. In 2002, Lisa Albers set out to make a lingerie bag that would keep her fresh panties separate from the worn when she traveled. The clever construction caught on and Kept was born. The line quickly expanded to include a wide range of bags that every woman needs while jet-setting about the world — whether it's an overnight excursion or a month-long journey.

Crisp cottons, bright colors and whimsical drawings became the trademark of Kept. Kept provides a multitude of ways for a woman to keep and safeguard her most important possessions, for there is little else that a woman covets more than her precious panties and designer heels. Whether it's real or imagined, the Kept woman lives a life of luxury that few experience. If you dream of being a Kept woman, keep your own cabana boy, run a Fortune 500 company, or live with someone who does, we know that you are self-reliant and self-indulgent.

Kept is a woman-owned business headquartered in a lovely Victorian in the Mission District of San Francisco. We are proud to manufacture all of our bags locally. We are known to work hard, but are committed to the well-deserved indulgence. We invite you to indulge your own Kept woman.
