The slub tee features a half back. Short sleeve.
A tee shirt and jeans can be just as stylish and sexy as a cocktail dress. Such is the thinking behind daftbird, a collection of knit basics designed by Josh Christopher. The line, which incorporates impeccable cuts such as racerback tanks and plunging v-necks, is made with ultra soft materials such as pima cotton and micro modal. Recognizing that girls love to wear their boyfriend’s tee shirt, Josh set out to create a collection with that in mind. With a strong focus on fit and feel, it’s designed to give women that familiar, sexy feeling of wearing a guy’s shirt – with the added bonus of paper thin fabric that hugs at the right spots.
Josh began his career working in the entertainment industry, which he soon realized didn’t satisfy his craving for creativity. In 2000, he launched Apathetic, a line of politically charged tee shirts that quickly caught on with the skate world, prompting him to consider the fashion industry as a lifelong career choice. Daftbird was born in 2006, and Josh continues to grow the collection season after season, always offering a new twist on basics.
Josh is inspired by modern architecture, photography and music, and in the little spare time he has, he can be found painting, listening to vinyl records or watching documentaries.
