W. Culpepper

Wendy Culpepper was born with a flair for design and intuitive sense of style. Fusing her inspirations with the passion of metal and artistry, Wendy has created jewelry that is renowned for its fine craftsmanship and natural stones.
Her career first began with her introduction to the arts in college. As a University of Florida engineering and fine arts student, Wendy's interesting dichotomy of skills quickly emerged. In an effort to continue fostering her strong drawing skills, Wendy traveled to Florence, Italy to immerse herself in a diverse study of mediums. This unique experience introduced her to metalsmithing and jewelry creation, thus the perfect blend of engineering, fabricating, and creativity that she had been searching for.
Following her heart, Wendy furthered her jewelry education by completing the Fashion Institute of Technology's vigorous bench jewelry and design program, graduating with the coveted honor of top design student. With her jewelry designs and beaded work selling right from her neck, Wendy began to explore an online business for her well-received pieces.
Furthering her knowledge of the industry, Culpepper joined the product development team at Me & Ro jewelry, famous for adorning numerous stars including Julia Roberts and Debra Messing. Enjoying her experience with the industry and the Eastern-inspired jeweler, Wendy felt encouraged to launch her own line. Since its launch in 2005, her jewelry has become famous for adorning celebrities such as Rachel Ray, Patricia Wettig, Jennifer Beals, Juliet Huddy and many more… With each collection growing in popularity, Wendy's designs are known for their simple, classic, yet bold elements. Strong carvings and a true understanding of the woman's face and form give her pieces a wearable and flattering quality unique to her designs.
Her feminine and balanced pieces have led to strong support from women of all ages including, editors, stylists, celebrities, and fashionistas alike. Appearances of her jewelry have occurred in InStyle, Lucky, Redbook, People, Daily Candy, and the Rachel Ray show to name a few.
